City Council officially rename Kalispell Youth Athletic Complex

The Kalispell Youth Athletic Complex has officially been renamed the Dan Johns Kalispell Youth Athletic Complex! This change, approved unanimously by City Council, honors Dan Johns’ years of dedication and leadership in growing youth sports opportunities right here in our community.

For decades, the complex has welcomed youth of all ages and abilities, providing a place to learn teamwork, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love for sports. The impact of these fields has been massive—supporting everything from T-ball to soccer, softball to football—bringing families and fans together season after season.

By naming the complex after Dan Johns, Kalispell ensures that his legacy of commitment and community spirit will continue to inspire future generations.
